27.8.2016: SiMUN 2016 cancelled
Unfortunately, we have to announce that we did not have any other choice but to cancel SiMUN 2016, due to unexpected circumstances. The event was supposed to take part in September. We already contacted all the applicants and are again very sorry for any inconvenience. We hope you do not forget about us and that we will get a chance to discuss international relations in the future.
We will still keep you posted about what comes next for SiMUN and MEOS Association so make sure to keep an eye on our social media (Facebook and Twitter) and our official web page.

11.7.2016: Applications are closed
Applications for SiMUN 2016 are now closed. We are currently reviewing the applications and will send feedback to all applicants shortly.
29.5.2016: Subtopics
Following this year's main theme An Imperfect Peace: The Story of the European Jerusalem, part of the team that creates the content of the simulation prepared the subtopics for each of the councils:
Security Council (UN) - Dayton Revisited
Foreign Affairs Council (EU) - Preventive Diplomacy in the Balkans
Ministerial Council (OSCE) - Managing the Human Dimension in Bosnia and Herzegovina
23.5.2016: Applications for the Press Team are open
If you wish to participate at SiMUN 2016 a little bit differently and want to experience it through writing, The SiMUN TIMES team is where you should be! Throughout the simulation, the team is working for the printed and online version of SiMUN TIMES. They are going through press briefings, looking for interesting news, writing juicy stories and memorable quotes.
Their main objective is to update the delegates of the progress of the simulation with monitoring the simulation, both in the working committees and at evening social events. Read more about the Press Team here.
The SiMUN Press Team will consist of three reporters, one photo reporter and one editor.
WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE PART?
You will gain experience working with young and dynamic people. At the end of the simulation every press team member will receive a certificate for your work done.
