What is MEOS?
Association for promotion and development of international relations "MEOS" is an independent, voluntary, non-governmental and non-profit association. It pursuits its interests in the field of education and with that contributes to enriched life on local, national and international level.
What do we do?
MEOS takes an active part in the educational and discussion sphere, public speaking, takes care of the development of international relations and the exchange of the ideas among students, aims to raise awareness of youth on international issues and the work of international and regional organizations and is trying to cooperate with Slovenian companies.
In the spirit of its objectives MEOS organized the first Slovenian Model United Nations in 2008, at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana. Due to the positive responses of the participants, professors of the Department of International Relations and the media, SiMUN became the primary project of MEOS. We invite all those interested to become members of MEOS. Together we can contribute to the widest accessibility of educational goods possible and to creation of active and conscious society.
